​The Tryon's Story

 

The Tryon story dates to the 1500's in the Essex area of England and possibly earlier in Flanders, Belguim. In the early 1600's they arrived in the Farmington, Hartford areas of the Connecticut Colony of America.  Later moving on to Quebec, Canada and then to New York state. Eventually making thier way to the Mountcalm County area of Michigan and finally ending up in the Pontiac, MI area where our particular story begins.
